Unconditional Spring 2012
London Fashion Week
September 18, 2011Philip Stephens has created yet another cool, relaxed and refined collection with draping material, textured looks and a palette that shies away from the use of bright colours. The beauty of this collection is the structure and drapes, not the colour palette. Of course some colour was used, but it was added in a clever way. Including a light and airy cardigan that begins white, but progresses into a dark turquoise colour.
The menswear was also great, with a similar silhouette that is quiet loose and full of drapes. The palette stuck to the minimalistic white, nude and black, with accents of colour in the prints. My favourite look from this collection was from the menswear (bottom-right picture). I love the printed pants!
